'I am in need of any tech data, 337's, or any other info on a Warner 145 to 165 conversion on a 1934 C8C. The FAA is requiring more info for certification, any help is greatly appreciated. I am also in need of a reasonably priced, serviceable 165 cowling.'

				'Hello Jeremy,

Sorry, I do not have any tech data related to a conversion from a 145 to 165. But, I may have a 337 detailing a conversion from a W-145 to W-185 on a 1937 F-24. Let me know if you think this 337 will be of use to you.

I e-mailed pictures of the cowl spinning. Please confirm if you received them, and advise if your customer has any interest. If not, I will consider the matter closed.

 Kindest Regards,

 JD

'I have all the data that was required to place a Warner 165 on my 1937 F-24-G. NC19143

The process of gaining a 1 time STC was used to do my aircraft. I do not know if the FAA will accept the F-24-G data or not, you will have to ask.
These records are in a history file under the STC # SA2747CE at the Kansas city FSDO.

My contact info is Tom Downey 1-360-202-0961 or nc19143(at)comcast.net

				'Attention Jeremy Harris >>>

Your 165 modification package is on its way to your FSDO.. attention Peter L Rouse

Now here is the catch? the package is for a F-24-G taken out of my aircraft's records. Your aircraft is a F-24-C8C there may be a problem.. we'll see.. wait and hope, we'll see what your FSDO thinks.

'Thanks Tom, I appreciate the help. I have been trying to find any and all info, hopefully I can come up with enough pertinent material to satisfy our friends at the FAA.
