'According to the 1942 parts catalog it is 7920. A foot note says it's used on Models 165, 165A, 165-Suffix E & 165A-Suffix E only.

'Looking through the 1944 (revised) parts catalog for the UC-61A and UC-61K they show four alternate hubs for the UC-61A. (7900, 7900-1, 8530, and 8599) All made by the Warner aircraft Co. out of Detroit Mich. (confusing right) Anyway, all four use an AN5011-20 propeller hub retaining nut. This is typical Army navy nomenclature of the period, and is not a manufacture's part number. Time for you and Google to get together. If you have the CD Blue prints and drawings, # 48601 confirms this is the correct hub nut. I do have an airworthy 7900-1 I plan on offering to the group in the near future. Sorry, I don't want to break it apart, or I would help you with this problem.

This is for a Curtiss Reed so I don't need a hub, just the nut and the cones
as well if anyone has them.

'Joe, I,ll bet that at least one of the top notch propeller or radial engine shops in the country will have the nut you are looking for and you know it will be airworthy. Try Steve Curry at Radial Engines Limited or Al Holloway at Holloway Engineering.

'Thanks Hugh,
I already spoke with Alan. He doesn't have any. I will give Steve Curry a
call though.
Also, I was curious does anyone have a Warner engine mount they want to
sell? This would be for a 165.

'Joe,
I might have what you need. I have a nut and cones that did not fit my Warner hub. I believe that the nut I have has a flange that fits into a recess in the cone halves. The cones are brass.
