Centennial of Womens Flight Finalist for most unusual introductory f

Post by Tinkler Sharon and Bill »

'Hello everyone! I just got a call from the Centennial of Women's Flight website and I am one of 6 people chosen to compete for the "most unusual introductory flights" award. I gave 10 women their introductory flights this year and they picked the story of flying my highschool girlfriend in the 1948 Sedan - we lost our tachometer during the flight.

I don't know if it's okay, but try doing it a lot so Nettie and I can have our 15 minutes of fame :) We have until 6pm tomorrow, I think.

Thanks!
Sharon T.

'Thank you everyone for your votes. I really appreciate the support! A check of the Centennial of Women Pilots website reveals that the Canadian Flight Instructor won. It had to be close!
