'Tom, Please pass on the info, hopefully it will be easier / cleaner than the method we have been using. I get called upon to do a half dozen or so babbitt bearings a year. Never fun, never profitable, but it does keep an antique running.

'I trying to Get a feeling for the market, I have found a company that will regrind a crank and rebabbitt the old bearing shell, and fit the two parts at the proper clearance.

the number will reflect the price.

'I would like to collect a few old insert bearings for the warner and see what pricing on the lot will be. then place these renewed bearing on the shelf at Harlon Dickersons for any one who needs them.
