'Hi everyone:

I am a new member and wanted to cast my net.  My father owned a pt-26 Cornell in the late 50's to the mid 70's.  It mostly was in the garage or a hangar, and I only remember it flying a few times.  When he sold it, I was in college and interested in other things and didn't pay attention.  Would anyone in the membership know where it went to.  I don't know the N number or anything.  All I can offer is that it left Maryland.....Essex Skypark in the early to mid 70's and I spoke to the buyers wife once when I was thinking of buying one.  They lived in the midwest, but I forgot where.  He had taken it all apart and when I spoke to her.....in the mid to late 80's he still hadn't gotten it together, but was making progress.  Can anyone connect the dots.  I am in the market for a pt 19 or a 26, and before I get too far, I wanted to see if I could find my dads old plane......................and see if its possibly for sale.  I have owned a couple of
antiques, and currently own a strait 35 Bonanza that is polished, and also a Curtiss Jr. replica.

Here's a place you can start your search.  http://www.airfields-freeman.com/MD/Airfields_MD_Balt_SE.htm%c2%a0

There are several nice examples of the PT-19, -26 available through Trade a Plane, Barnstormers.com and word of mouth.

'Thanks, I am on the two that are for sale, and talked to the owner of the Wash one, and talked to the Rep for the Texas one.  .  One is a 19 in Wash. State, and the 26 in Texas.  Both seem nice.  am working on my schedule to see both.

I know that my dads left Essex skypark, have been there a couple of times.
