'I just uploaded a photo to the Miscellaneous album in the Photos area of a PT-19 that I took in 1967. I think it was probably taken at Montgomery County Airpark in Gaithersburg, MD.

I think this photo might be of N46199, but the last digit is mostly obscured by the wing so I'm not sure. It has 42 on the nose.

Can anybody tell me whether or not it is this aircraft? Later pictures I have seen of N46199 show it in a different paint scheme. If it's not N46199, can you suggest which one it is?

Welcome to the group.  There is also a Yahoo group for the PT-19, -23 and -26 series airplanes also.  The airplane in question is S/N T43-7274, N46199 now owned by the Fairchild Museum in Hagerstown.  What is the other paint scheme you are referring to?

'Good morning, The Pt 19 in your photograph is now at the Hagerstown
Fairchild Museum. It was alive and well when delivered from Buckingham Field
to Hagerstown.

I purchased 46199 from the estate of Ray Morders and refinished in 1943
silver. I flew around the DCA area and subsequently flew it to Summerland
Key in

Florida. This was in May of 1989, clock, compass, and chart. Nordo all the
way. I operated up and down the Keys for ten years and then P.C. S. to
Buckingham

Field . Air show displays, Sun & Fun and touring Southwest Florida until
March of 2009. My last flight was checking out the Ferry Pilot , March 30,
2009. The next flight

off to Hagerstown, 1100 miles north to it's birthplace in 1943. A full
circle. Bob Haas, Buckingham Field, Ft. Myers , FL.
