'Hi Bill:

If you have the two piece tail wheel strut where one tube slides up into the outer tube, Charlie Bell in Florida has rebuilt probably 10 or more of them for people and I haven't heard of any shimmy problems after that. It might be easier to have the strut rebuilt than doing the Scott Wheel change. Just a thought!
