delivered from Hagerstown under S/N#998, and under Lend lease programm S/N#44-83037 USAAF number, thus delivered to the RAF in scotland as Argus III code KK380 used by ATA (Air Transport Auxiliary (like the american WASP)), then used and stored several times until arriving in Germany (following the RAF troups), and being delivered back to USAAF, which sold them in batch in europe in 1948.
Bought by the famous Louis BREGUET plane manufacturer, then registered F-BEXC and used as his personnal plane, and sold in the 60's to other private owners (as well as Jean SALIS, the famous french restorer, at "La Ferté Alais", this plane was always maintained in airworthy conditions, being restored several times.
Now based in Chartres-France, she is for sale!!
