I have my 46R46A insured for $75,000.00 and $1,000,000.00 through the Vintage Airplane Association and I pay $1,750.00 a year.  I also have a lot of tailwheel time which may make a good bit of difference.  Jay

Hey Guys ....

About to put flight insurance on my Fairchild 24 W46 and was wondering what a reasonable quote would be. The numbers I am hearing from my provider seem a little steep. I don't have a ton of hours and only about 50 PIC tailwheel. I'm having it quoted at 30k and 40k hull which still doesn't come close to replacement cost of the airplane. Just trying to get an idea what others are paying.

Thanks

Matt
