'Hy everybody!

Yes still alive (for those who read me few years ago) and still
working on F-AZCI in France, alias Argus III KK380.

This year (or next year begining) we plan to change the interior trim
and headliner.

I did read years ago about this subject, especially about
to "percut" "ready to install" kit of lining (vinyl or some kind of
fabric), but we are looking for the liner type with roof windows
(Argus III =UC61-K).

So , if any body has any tip or advice, we will be very glad to ear
or read from you!

By the way, does anybody try to replace thei generator by a B&C
product??
seems that thos products looks really interesting (and especially
during longhaul flight, even above water), as we in France have
sometimes to fly from our france's earth upo the mediterranean see to
land in Corsica, or on our west coast to reach some islands like
Jersey...but could be safer to get a reliable electric generator!

So if anybody does ever tried B&C, could be great to get some
feedback on such parts!

Thanks to everybody!
Have nice flights!

Airy'

'Airy,
I have a headliner pattern for Argus III.  I can send pictures of how it turned out.  Plus, someone on the west coast just used it, as well.  Let me know if you would like to borrow.  Postage is all that I ask.  Thanks and have a wonderful Christmas season.

I am not aware that the B&C alternator is approved for installation
on the Ranger in US-registered planes. Most of their line is sold
for Experimental aircraft. I installed the Jasco alternator from
Skytronics 8 years ago and its worked great.

'THanks, I was just asking to know if?? but I know rules are not the same for us, as in France we are registered as "collector" category, which is part of a large "experimental" category (homebuilt, kitbuilt, collectors, aircraft without known manufacturer to be able to carry follow up uppon the type,etc...).

B&C did answer me recently that their products won't have the good interface for coupling in the Ranger engine...

So, we will have to look for a european dealer, or try to find a skytronic/jasco cheap kit (don't need any certification or approval, only the owner approval is required....)
If somebody do know parts without JAA Form1..just think to youy european neighboors!!
