title clearance

'Recommend you contact one of the Title companies, like AOPA. "They" chase the paper and you write a check to clear the title. However; with antique airplanes it is 'almost' a NON issue. The Fairchild we sold this past summer had some cloudy issues with its title but the new owner did his own research and cleared some issues over 30-years old. = Internet, google and a telephone can also help. No magic here...

I have the Essco overhaul manual for the E-80 starter but it is devoid
of parts diagrams. Anyone here have a link to some diagrams for this
starter?

Gene,
Have you talked to anyone at the aircraft registration branch in Oklahoma City? We went through that once, we sent letters by registered mail to the last person who owned the airplane. When they were returned to us, we had proof that the previous owner no longer existed.
