Tom,
I have figured out that the fairings I have for the struts are the top section. They are brand new and still have plastic film on the aluminum sheet. So it seems I am missing the lower sections, all of the edging, wipers and mounting points. My parts manual shows that the two upper mounts are simple band clamps with a small horizontal tube welded on them. Do you have any specs for these where I could fabricate them or am I going to have to find some used? Some of the fairings that I have seen have a nice flare that transitions into the wheel pant, is this a separate piece or is it formed into the lower fairing? Or should I just trim the lower to intersect the wheel pant and be done with it? I have attached a photo of my 24 showing the struts if it's any help.

Thanks !

Matt

The strut fairing were not on the airplane when I bought it. In the boxes of extras that I got, there are two brand new fairings but they are only half of the assembly .. I don't know if they are the upper or lower section. I haven't looked at them that closely. I can make the missing fairing half, I'm just not sure about how they were originally attached to the strut. There are no other Fairchilds around here to look at.
