'The outside of the the rear seat, trim turnbuckle housing is rubbing
on the inside of the fabric, causing the fabric to stress and
eventually tear. The fabric has been repaired twice but unless I
prevent the rubbing it will tear again. Does anyone else have this
problem and if so, how did you solve it?

'Hey Tom I still have my PT too. I just checked the clearance and
it is quite adequate front and rear of the repeater crank

Assembly. Mine is located by a metal tab welded to the longeron and the
crank is fastened to it . You will have to fabricate a stand off

Piece to correct the lack of clearance. I would suggest a small block of
wood fiber classed and painted to match. You remember

How parts were cut to fit and painted to match for type certificates. Bob
