I assume that you are talking about the "U" channel that the glass slides
in.
I don't remember specifically where I got mine, but it was at a shop that
normally would be replacing automotive glass. It had an aluminum base, with
rubber, cloth, and fussy stuff over that. It was easy to nail into place.
Even very small screws might work. I got enough to do front, back and the
top. When you replace the channeling, don't move the channel inward, at
least not very much. The metal channel that the glass fits into can make
contact with the regulator. The closest point for interference would be at
the pivot point for the regulator gear/arm.
I can easily do photos. I have one door that doesn't have the exterior skin
on it.
