My Warner was done by Santa Paula aero, it lasted 155 hours before I
had to do it again.
Al Ball of "Antique Aero Engines" at Santa Paula Airport specializes
on the Warner Engines and does the best job I've seen.

Santa Paula Aero restored my aircraft in 1988, I bought the aircraft
in 2001, what happened in between is anyones guess. You can see my web
page for what I found during my restoration. Stitz should have lasted
longer than 12 years, New fabric should never be installed over old,
but my aircraft had 7 layers of fabric on the bottom. I was not
impressed with the quality of Santa Paula's work on my aircraft.

His work is top rate and he keeps track of his engines. If you have
talked with him about this engine, I'm sure he told you why it didn't
last much longer. If you like; I will talk with him and let the club
know what caused the short engine life.
