'I am interested in installing a 4-point harness system in my 24 and
realize that most likely I am going to need a 337 to do so. Does
anyone have a 337 for installing a 4-point harness into their 24 in
the past? Also any pointers and tips would be helpful.

Regards,

Bradley

'Use the data given in the AC 43,13-1b, It is now approved data. and
send directly to OKC DO NOT try to obtain a PREAPPROVAL. it is no
longer needed since the FAA approved the AC 43,13-2b as approved data.

F24W40 project for sale

'FOR SALE -- Fairchild 24W40 with 165-hp Warner. Aircraft was damaged in an
accident in 2002. Damage has been repaired except tor right wing which
needs tip repair and front spar replaced. I have airworthy replacement spar.
Engine runs but vibrates above 1000 rpm. Needs new prop. Engine has 64
hours since major in 1998 and a new stainless steel exhaust since the accident.
Airframe has 1867 hours total time. Project is complete including original
wheel pants.

I am 80 years old and retired. I have neither the funds nor the ability to
finish the repairs so I have decided to sell the project. Hopefully to
someone who wants a flying Fairchild and not a trophy winner. I have owned the
plane since 1969 and it has been hangared since. Since flying Fairchilds are
selling in the $30 to $40 thousand range, I am asking $15,000 for the project
which is located in Livermore, California.
