Fairchild 24 - Sensenich Propellers

'I need to replace the wood propeller on my Fairchild 24 C8E with a
145 Warner. The prop on the plane is a W86CA-67 and the one listed in
the Sensenich chart for that type plane and engine is a W86CA-63. I
was wondering if there is a noticeable difference in static RPM
between the two. I never noticed in the many years that I have flown
it whether it was particularly lugging the engine down.

Has anyone had any experience with wood props on the Warner powered
Fairchild? - Thanks, Kent'

'Kent: Mike Redpath with Falcon Propellers offers can answer your
question about static RPM and also offers an alternative to the
Sensenich props for the Warner powered Fairchilds. His prices are
about 10% - 15% less than Sensenich and the guys flying his props say
they perform and look a lot better. You can contact Mike at: 405-414-
1072; his office is in Washington, OK which is about 25 miles south of
Oklahoma City.

'Thanks for your help, Brad. I will get in touch with Mike and see
what he has to say. I was not familiar with Falcon Propellers, but
I like the looks of a wood prop on the plane.
