'Having been task to put on a ground school for our CAF PT-19/26, it occurs to me that some our you who are better organized than I am may have already assembled a MS Power Point presentation which I might copy. How about it? Anyone have a PT ground school they are willing to share?
Thanks,
Richard Smith

'RICHARD, I HAVE THE VIDEO TAPE THE T-6-T-34 PEOPLE PUT
OUT. IT IS RATHER LONG AND DREARY ( A LOT OF IT COULD
BE EDITIED OUT), BUT IT IS THE ONLY GROUND SCHOOL FOR
FORMATION QUALIFICATION FOR THE CAF I KNOW OF. I ALSO
PUT TOGETHER SOME CARDS SHOWING THE FOCAL POINTS FOR
HOLDING FORMATION. THIS WAS SOME YEARS AGO AND IT MAY
TAKE A WHILE TO LOCATE THE ITEMS. I'VE TRIED TO PUT
TOGETHER A FORMATION SCHOOL SEVERAL TIMES...HAD THE
INSTRUCTORS LINED UP AND EVERYTHING READY TO GO...AND
EVERYONE WHO SAID THEY WANTED TO GET THEIR FORMATION
CARD CANCELLED OR DIDN'T SHOW UP. MAYBE ENOUGH HAVE
CHANGED THEIR MINDS TO MAKE IT A GO.

'Richard,
I'll pay good money to come down and watch you teach ;o) Or if you like, I'll send the old man himself to straighten you guys out.

I think this will help you with the ground school. They have other stuff on the Fairchild PT series airplanes.

'Mike,
Can I pay extra and have Dad stay at home. You are Mark would be great, but I'm not sure Texas is ready for Joe.
Thanks,

'Oh, he's been there before. We were over in Houston to put together a Ranger and make it run. Texas hasen't been the same since. So, I guess it's a deal.

Do those two videos fit the bill?

Mike

'Bob,
You are moving way to fast and far for us. We are just trying to get pilots familiar with flying warbirds by starting them in the PT. Formation is a long way off, but when we get enough trained pilots, we'll include you and the coyote guys.
