'Dan,

Don't have a 45-62-1 on record. We have 40-5 up thru 44-7-C.

What is the subject and acft type?

Jamie

'Dan,
H.L. Puckett's "Sherman Fairchild's PT-19 - Cradle of Heroes"
includes Service Maintenance Bulletin 45-62-1 and relates to the
Inspection and Repair of Center Section Spars of all M-62 Series
Airplanes. Is this the document you are seeking?

There is also a further Service Bulletin No. 47-62-1,
subject "Inspection Procedure for Wings and Center Section
on all M-62 type Aircraft".

Additionally, the Canadian authorities issued a Service Bulletin on
center section modifications affecting the Canadian certificated
Fairchild Cornells around this time, but I am not sure if that
remains easily available.

I believe the Fairchild Club may have still have reprinted copies
for sale of Puckett's book which includes a chapter on the
background to these issues.

Hope this helps, Tony Broadhurst

'Hello Dan,

As good friend Tony mentioned, you probably want to look at both 45-62-
1 and 47-62-1. I can supply you with copies of both if you still need
them. You can e-mail me at dennisaeroventures@yahoo.com with your
contact info and I will forward them on to you.

Hope this helps,

Steve Dennis :)
