Battery box deal...

'I have a questionable battery box setup on my Temco R46. It looks
nothing like the drawing in the manuals. It's serviced through an
opening on the right side of the fuseloge, and that looks correct. The
platform is sturdily built of tubing and clamped to airframe members,
that looks correct. The battery is then placed in a simple metal box
with cut outs for battery cables, this box is secured to the platform
by two bolts. A simple detachable lid is placed on top of this which
is held in place by a pin and cotter key. I can't imagine this is
factory build. Where's the restraint for the battery when an
occasional negative G comes along. Can't be just the lid. The box
could have been homemade. I don't know. The platform and it's
attachment to the frame looks factory. Can anybody help me with this??.
