Annual November 2005
This aircraft has been maintained in top condition. Ext 9/10, Int
9/10! I have all logbooks since the airplane was purchased from the
military in 1945. The engine is an inverted, six cylinder 200hp,
Ranger engine that is still supported today and parts are available.
The aircraft was recovered with Ceconite 101 in 1991. It has a modern
GPS/COM, Transponder and ELT. I have all maintenance and operating
manuals as well as many extras.
The PT-19 was a WWII trainer originally built by Fairchild Aircraft.
They were open cockpit, low wing monoplanes designed to be easy to
fly by green cadets with low time. PT-19?s that were sent to the RCAF
were outfitted with canopies and heating systems. This aircraft does
not have the heating system and was retrofitted wth the canopy in the
1990?s for all weather flying.
