'To All:
NC77605 was featured on the cover of "Private Pilot" in 1967 and
based on the article, it was obvious that the airplane was very much
a part of owner's (Chuck Gupton) family. With that in mind, I tried
to locate Chuck with no success. As it turns out, Chuck passed away
in 1997, but I have since been able to locate his son, who spent many
happy hours flying, waxing, and working on -605 and was happy to
share some great pictures of and stories about the airplane. I've
posted a few of these in the "Photos" section; a really nice family
with their favorite airplane. Check out the picture of Richard
Bach's Detroit Parks biplane in formation with my airplane; the
Guptons and Bachs were friends and there are a lot of great pictures
of Dick and Betty Bach and their Parks with -605 either in the
background or playing the role of camera ship. Anyway, it's nice to
have this history of the airplane and I wanted to thank all the folks
on the web board who helped me in my research efforts.
Best Wishes,
