'Here is plan "B".

Just found out there is a race at MIS the third weekend in August
so we are moving the Reunion to the LAST weekend in August. That would
be the 27th and 28th now. This will be in the Fairchild Flyer which is
going to the printers this week. The Motels are booked solid during
the races. Hope to see some of you at Oshkosh. We'll be in the Type
Club tent off and on with John Berendt.

'Michigan International Speedway is in the southern Part of the state There
were some rooms on that weekend but at $200.00 per night I do not think so.
Every time there is a special event the motel rates go up just take a look
at Oshkosh. Even the warbirds are camping out. The Fairchild Reunion is not
a special event to raise room rates but a NASCAR race is.
