1935 Fairchild Model 91

Post by higgshunter »

'Hello folks,

A little off topic from the usual posting, but I came across an old
model aviation plan set for a 1935 Fairchild Model 91. This is a
single engine amphibian aircraft. Apparently Pan Am bought two of
these for use on the Amazon River in Brazil. One of which was
eventually cut up, the other remains a mystery.

I was just wondering if anyone else knows anything about the model
91. At least two were produced, but were there more? What engine
did it use? Etc.....

Cheers,

Bill'
