'Hello folks,

I am looking for a Fairchild 24 basketcase project. Thought I had
one, but it sold before I could react. Would like to find a Ranger
powered project, but would also be interested in a Warner power 24.

Thanks,

Bill'

'I had a bit of a deal going with a lad in Mass. about three months ago but it fell through
after a few phone calls. He had a pretty promising candidate for sale and we pretty much
had a deal done over the phone for about $8-10Kbased on visual inspection. I told him
I was about to swing up thru Connecticut to his location the next weekend, look the plane
over, would confirm the deal and drop $3K cash on the table with promise to pick up the
goods and pay cash in full within seven days. He said he'd take the deposit but the deal's
not done till paid in full and would remain free to sell to some one else before the seven days
was up. I balked and told him where to go the next day. Beware amigos..

'Hi David,

Have been down a similar path. All I wanted to see was some
pictures before I sent the money, but the owner sold the plane
before he sent the pictures.

'Hi Tom,

If you are referring to the 24-8C8, it's sold!

'Bill,
You might try Roger Mooney @ 973-663-0925. He has one to sell.
