Warner Log Books

'To All:
Among the items in my aircraft files are logs to a Warner engine that
apparently was kept as a spare at some point in the airplane's past
(the airplane was converted to Ranger power in 1956 and the logbook
says "Spare Warner" on the back cover). The engine is a 145hp
Warner, Serial # SS418E and the log entries date from 8/17/41 through
3/20/58 and include wartime entries referencing "CAP". The only N-
number references I find in the log are that the engine was installed
in aircraft NC18550 on 1/31/44.
If you own this engine or an airplane that was powered by this engine
and think you might want the logbook, please contact me at
bdon661@aol.com.
