'Hi All,,, new to the group. Don't fly Fairchilds, but I'm working
with a Ranger C-440 on my 2/3rd scale Mustang.

getting ready to go to the air and I had a couple of questions.

I have the ranger OH manual, and for the life of me I can't find
Spark plug torque values, anyone know what these are?

Finally,, I have a 50 amp Gen, anyone know what Voltage reg, and
overcharge I could use?

cheers

Mike'

'Mike,
Military overhaul manual stats 450-500 inch-lb for the spark plugs.
Can't answer your other question.

'Mike,
Civilian overhaul manual states 300-360 inch-Lb. So take your pick.

'I think I recall seeing the military manual originally showing 360
and being revised to show 480. 480 is really tight, so I would
probably split the difference. As a comparison, P&W R985 is 360.
