Aeromatics and Fairchilds

'All,
I am Installing an Aeromatic O-82 on my 24R46 175 Ranger. Brief
background. The O-82 was approved for the Widgeon 200hp Ranger. The O-
85 is the only Aeromatic approved for the F-24 series, for either
Warner or Ranger powered. Question?? has anyone installed an O-82 on
a Fairchild and received a one time field approval. We know it will
work, been used for many years on Warner and Ranger powered
expermental aircraft such as Great Lakes and others.
What I would like to do is get a one time field, will work with my
DAR (Propeller). If we can get a one time, would like to share with
the field. That way we can use O-82, plenty of those around compared
to O-85s.
Let me know what you have.
