suitability but if you have a taper shaft 145 then it will fit.
It is a 7056F hub with 19 bi blades according to my paperwork and I
suppose if the engine is the same and the aircraft are similar
performance then it should be fine.
This was fitted to my Rearwin Cloudster so I would imagine that if
the engine is the same then all will be fine if the performance is
similar, the Rearwin has a cruising speed of 100 mph and a top speed
of 120.
The prop was taken off the airplane when it was shipped over here in
1992. I have had it in storage until I had it overhauled about two
years ago. Since then it has been in dry storage. It was overhauled
by the Prop Shop which is part of Aircraft Restoration Company at
Duxford UK and they are about the best you can get. They have
finished it in black with yellow tips. I didn't ask for this but it
is better than polilshed in our slightly damp climate. It would be no
bother to have the faces polished I am sure.
If you need any more information or anyone else can help regarding
its suitability for the F22 then let me know. The people rebuilding
my engine, Vintec Ltd, tell me the motor would run very well with
this and that I should use it but the weight is a factor for me (the
Warner is already 35lb heavier than the Ken Royce that was originally
fitted) and, as I said, I want a wooden one for other reasons.
If you were to use this would you be removing a wooden prop? Does
this have a hub for sale . . .
Hope to hear from you,
