Formation flying, clinic

'Bob we appreciated your attendance at the fly in. I suspect you were
disappointed in the no go on the 4 ship. My plane was fresh out of
annual and not even a test hop. I just did not feel comfortable with
the situation.

On a brighter side, our training group is considering a formation clinic
for new and low time formation pilots. We are looking at Palestine
which would not be such a stretch for you. The problem is always enough
safety pilots. Would you be interested in something after Oshkosh,
maybe a Fri. evening, Sat. am session?

I am working on getting your canopy parts ready to return. Still do not
have any front rails.

Thanks,

cliff'

'Vintage Aircraft Group is sponsoring a weekend of flying at Pine Hill Airport
(9G6). We are located half way in between Niagara Falls and Rochester, NY.

We would like to have a Fairchild fly in and would love to do the formation
training and we would be able to "show our stuff" during the weekend.

A US Navy pilot, trained in SNJ's, would be available for briefing and
training flights.

Anyone interested in either the formation work and/or a Fairchild fly in?

'Gene: The PT-26 won't be ready this season. But the F24R46A is ready to go.
We would consider it depending upon the weekend! You should be within 3 hours
or so. Keep us in mind.
