'Jamie and all....
Re: the control bearings for my 24G:
I searched all the way to Torrington...sub of Ingersol Rand. They make the
bearings for IR which sells them to Fafnir...who sells them to a number of
distributors...who eventually sell them to human beings.

Univar has 1390 of them in stock...now renumbered "CS3906" as a new-improved
version...for $18.25 each. These go in the bellcranks.

The other bearings...the larger sealed bearings...are also renumbered.
Instead of being Fafnir KS4.....they are (Univair product number)
AN200-KP4...or Fafnir KSP-4....regular price $40/ea but I got 'em for $25/ea.
And there is also a cross reference bearing: Univair product number
MS27641-4G...identical, and legal as a replacement, but made in New
Hampshire...for $19.50/ea. I bought 28 of these...needing 26...and 10 of the
CS3906 bearings...needing 8. Univair has now ordered a new lot of these
larger bearings...since I fairly well cleaned them out.
The wing is down to just the spars...new wood ordered....at last I am making
progress!

'Richard,

Thanks for the info. I will document that on the Tech Tip Data on the CD Rom. John may want to put it in the Flyer.
