'Let me say it like this. I have seen enough Rangers
that look like these end up scrapped. Don't expect to
make these things jewels. I have done enough of these
engines to know what I am talking about. I can't take
something like this and make it like new, the parts
are not available. Hey fellas, this list if for
information and I believe I gave GOOD INFORMATION!
BEWARE OF WHAT YOU BUY AT AUCTION!
Sure, someone can buy them but don't expect them to
measure to specs. You may get lucky, you may not. I
have scrapped I don't remember how many cylinders I
replaced that leaked at the heads even though they
measured to standard dimensions. It costs $15,000.00
to make an airworthy Ranger engine and I can't see
wasting good money on unuseable equipment. Then you
get pissed off at me for a bad engine. Forget about
them!
