PT-26 Canopy seals.

'I am restoring a canopy and need assistance in finding a suitable seal
material. One of the existing units had a 3/8 hollow P section seal
like the old refrigerator door seals. The other had a 1/4' by 1 1/4'
strip of soft rubber.
The parts list does not show these seals and there is no telling what
was original.
Has anyone replaced these lately and what was the source of the
material. I have looked for suitable substitutes in the J C Whitney
catalog and others. Engine baffle material might work, but may be a bit
too stiff.
Any ideas? See photo below.
