'220 Cont. On a PT23. Just a wild ride, no injuries! We know of 3 other Cont. and one Warner for sure.
It appears to be the Chrysler alt. unit. As far as Ii know the Ford unit has not done this but I still like generators. The alternator will only charge above approx. 1360 rpms and you have to have a step up drive gear for that. Under this rpm and it discharges. That is straight from Jasco.
