'I need a heater muff for a warner 165, The aircraft has the heat
controls, and a mixer box at the firewall, but nothing forward of
that.
How do I go about getting one, and how much should they cost?
Tom Downey, new to the Fairchild and liking it, but we're cold.
Next thing will be a brake conversion to some thing other than the
mechanical linkage, advice please, these brakes are really bad.'

'Tom,
I will take your old brakes. I like them. You do not fly it with brakes. Taxing is another story in a 40 mph wind though. Try Aircraft Exhaust Sys.. They do all our exhausts and can make one if you design something for them.
Tell them I told you to call please. 800-227-5951

Gene it will be a while before I get that far. I am into the annual
now and have other minor problems like radio Noise, landing light,
cracked cowling, and sticking brakes. I think my right drum is out of
round and very out of adjustment, when fixed it may cure my left
turning tendency on rollout. we will see what hapens, If you like
them I may take another look at them, You have not steered me wrong
yet.'
