'I love it. Great post.

For those interested, I have posted the fix to the leaking Eclipse starter problem on my "new" 24 -- There are some breakdown pics of the starter and a drawing of the aluminum donut that holds the seal in place.

Find the link at www.planeplace.com --- look for Fairchild Progress Reports section.

'Great pictures and comments on the website. Glad to see another
Fairchild in the neighborhood(I live in Bellevue). I sold my PT, but
can't seem to lose my interest in Fairchilds.

Hope to see you at some of the local fly-ins this summer.

'Also enjoyed the Web page. Definitely makes you want to get off your duff,
and get out to the shop and go to work. It may be rubbing it in somewhat,
because you flying and I'm not. I am happy for you. I really enjoyed the
stick time I've had in my 24. One of these days, it will be my turn, again.
I will be more than happy to show off a little. I just finished building 2
new wings for my 24'. Next will be to recover the wings, tail, and re-do
the motor. Oh, and polish one of the prettiest Curtiss Reeds you ever laid
eyes upon. Un-clipped, undamaged and made for a 165 Warner.
