oil question

'When I shut down my Ranger in my 19, I always run it at about 1,000 RPM's
for at least 30 seconds. Sometimes when I pull the prop through later on
for the next flight, I get quite a bit of oil out of the exhaust, several
tablespoons probably. Sometimes however, I don't get a thing. I'm starting
to think it depends on where the prop stops. All cylinders have good
compression. Any ideas as to what's causing this?
