'Hello

Found you all Fairchild lovers.
There is some of us in Europe. From what I know we are about twenty planes over here. Some under restauration as mine and some flying.
I have been restoring the last ten years. It is a former UC61A from 1943 with a Warner engine. I am restoring it to the original II WW condition.
I just had the engine installed this weekend and I belive it will be in the air next year. John at the club has some digital pictures.
If you lock in the Fairchild news letter some issues ago you can se me and my friend Karl starting in his F24 in Swizzerlad. I am the one smiling the moast as it was my first time in a Fairchild.
paul
