'Need some information on how to get in touch with Jim's Upholstery in
Wisconsin. Also need to know if anyone has a piston for the original
style master brake cylinder. Need one. Also need a compass bracket or
pattern will do.

Thanks for the help.

'I assume that would be a liquid filled model used in the top center of 24's.
I have mine out and sometime in the near future I will be cleaning it up and
repainting it. I can step up the time line alittle and either make a
drawing of it, or trace it onto the back of a cereal box. Just send me an
E-mail.

'Dan,
Jim of Jim's Upholstery in Sheboygan WI, used to work for Charlie Bell
(owner of a Grand Champion Fairchild 24, and well know Warner guru).
I talked to Charlie at last year's MAAC fly-in in Broadhead WI, and
asked what happened to Jim. It appears that Jim's business suffered a
lot of damage in a flood about four years ago. Then two years ago,
another disaster struck, possibly another flood. Apparently Jim just
closed up shop.

You might contact Charlie, who lives in Florida, and has e-mail. You
might also contact Ed Wegner, who lives in Plymouth WI (near
Sheboygan) who knew Jim. Ed does not have an e-mail address (that I
know of).

Too bad about Jim closing up shop. He did the upholstery for a number
of Fairchild 24s (including mine) and did an excellent job.
