we know of a company that will make the springs we had them made for the Pt's

Thanks to Robert Albee, I believe I will soon have a landing gear spring.

From your responses, I've also learned how to get one fabricated if
necessary, and that a PT spring won't work on a 24.

(We will soon learn if a pre-war spring is the same as a 24W spring --
so Tom, I may yet need your help )

My gratitude to everyone who wrote with suggestions.
