Thanks for all the information.
I just got off the phone with Charley at Sensenich . Very, very
helpful . He was able to bring up a schematic of my Warner Hub
(Warner Aircraft Part # 8599) The drawing I saw earlier in the
Prewar parts manual had me all turned around. So to be correct
according to schematic Sensenich has the crush plate does go on the
front. There is no cone on front of this model, just a pressed in
Aluminum Bronze bushing. There is a cone and spacer on the engine side
which is usually the case. He had a full set of correct bolts that I
bought, no cones however. There, I'm putting this little episode to
rest.
