I know where some Ranger engines are located for a good price and I
wanted to tell the group about them.

'Hello All,
I was looking for World-War-One engines without much success but I did find
some Rangers, a Jacobs R-755-9 overhauled by tech-school for $1,200, and
several OX-5's. These are engines that I "dug up" and are not advertised
that I know of. If anyone is interested please send me an email to
rblassett@alltel.net
Also, I would like to offer my aircraft construction/restoration services to
the group. I have a 40' X 60' hangar in NE Georgia and have a lifetime of
experience with various aircraft. I can construct large projects for $20.00
per hour with first-class workmanship. Please email me directly or give me
a call.

'Here's an internet article that talks about the lineage of the Jacobs
R755-9. Looks like they were used in Staggerwings and Bamboo Bombers. The
article talks about possible conversion from 245hp to 275hp.
