they line up very nicely. I think the reason some tanks end up too high is
probably using too thick felt where the tanks rest on top of the ribs. I had
planned on puting an original interior in mine but John Berendt called and
has a turquois interior that he wasn't going to use and is sending it to me.
I think if I paint the outside turquois & white it should look very
nice.Thanks for the information about the rib stitching-& good luck covering
the wings.

Bill, I used your bottom panel for a pattern and tried forming one.
I had it shaped and the outside edges bent around. Where I got into a
problem was making the step-down at the bottom and when I doubled it over it
cracked. I think the aluminum I have is to hard and doesn't want to bend. If
you could make one that would be great-I will send you the bottom panel if
you really don't mind making one.I also cut out a rudder panel cover from
the material you sent- sure is nice stuff to work with-Thanks again,
