'John,

I didn't try to post them as attachments, just as a hyperlink to my web
space.

I can email them somewhere though, if you give me an address.

The list does not post photos or attachments. Please send photos to the
Fairchild Club at the Cannon Falls Address. Is this one of Jim Clow's
aircraft?

Hi,

I'm posting this for my dad. He is a member of this group. He reads
avidly but I think he does not post. I joined temporarily to post a
link to photos you might enjoy.

http://home.earthlink.net/~dmcluckie/Fairchild/

Dad rescued a 1936 (I think) Fairchild from a pitiful retirement in
the back of an old hangar. After a few weeks of work, today was the
day for flight!

It was not a great day for flying, but the plane performed well.
Better than pilot Dad did, he says. Fairly strong 90º cross wind.

Dad has another one just like it at home in the garage. That one
was quite a basket case.

Maybe Dad will pipe up now, in case anyone has any comments or
questions.

'Steve Look forward to seeing you at Oshkosh, Have you talked to Walt
O'Conners grand son about the club advertising the F24 projects? Have fun
flying the F24 and you will have even more with the PT26.

> Thanks John. The Kitty Hawk trip is actually coming up and I'm looking
forward to taking the 24. Had her out last evening for a short hop along the
Connecticut shore of Long Island Sound. Smooth as silk! Delivered the
Aeronca Defender to the new owner about a week and a half ago. It served me
well for 18 years but the 24 is my main ride now until the 26 is done. See
you this summer if you're at OSH. We actually have a two week vacation
scheduled so that we can take the 24 out there as well. Take care.
