Something with snow is prefered.

Have you ever considered the great Northwest? and owning the whole
ball of wax?
The airport at Oak Harbor (76S) could be bought. The property is 54
ac. with 14 rental hangars, 20 outside tie downs, and one big
100'X100'hangar that is empty. The airport has about 30 aircraft that
call it home.
The community has not had any flight service since Harbor Air went
bankrupt. The present owner is an absentee landlord, which bought the
property as an investment.
We have more VFR days than San Diego, no snow at this level, but
1000' up we got plenty. The Cascade range gets upward of 200' of snow
each year, this means you can go sking without driving to work each
day in the stuff. We have 3 world class skiing slopes within a 2 hour
drive.
Whidbey Island has all the advantages of the big city without the
rudeness. We are 18 minutes out of Boeing Field BFI (Downtown
Seattle), 35 minutes out of Victoria BC, and 25 minutes out of
Vancouver BC.
Aviation is alive and well in the Puget Sound, and I am the only
working A&P-IA on the island, And need all the help I can get.'

not expensive at all. I have lived here for 16 years and my total costs
compared to up north are fifty percent less.also keep in mind that I retired
in 1982. we have snow birds that arrive in November and depart around
April....walt
