Parts and Services

'All,
I have updated the Parts and Services listing today. The new listing
reflects the changes below.
There has been a change in the process on how you obtain new Warner
165/185 engine bushings as called out in Fairchild drawing 48540
(Warner Mount Ring). Some folks express concern in dealing with the
specific third party that had the molds manufactured by SouthLand. I
had a long discussion with Larry Trumpore (owner of Southland)
yesterday. He has not officially billed his customer. He will
seriously consider maintaining ownership of the molds and charging a
reasonable price to cover his labor, materials and mold cost. The
third party would have cost us somewhere around $600.00 per engine
set of four. He will be producing the first set of four in a few
weeks. He will then be able to give us a firm price on new end item.
As for Ranger bushings, I have sent a box of my old unairworthy
Ranger bushing to Larry for replacement of rubber. Est price is
around $60.00 per unit. Which is a fine price for me, the only other
bench stock that is somewhat for sale to the public is $60.00 per
unit and they are now 10+ years old. Tired of old rubber. I have also
requested two complete sets of Warner bushings just to get things
started.
If you're in need of bushings for either engine, give Larry a call
and place an order or just let him know you're interested in the very
near future. This is a Father and Son outfit, very enjoyable to work
with. Here is his contact info:
