' There is a reference in the Scarab shop manual that calls out 25-30 ft/lbs. However, I have concerns about the spark plug boss backing out of the head with the plug (it's happened to me twice). '25-30 is correct. If you are torqueing to 25 and the plug's threaded insert is backing out you will need to repair the interface between the plug insert and the head.'
