'I am coming to the conclusion that my oil problems are from a sub-par overhaul. I have tried everything to control the oil coming out of the breather, including taking the cylinders off, sending them out for chroming, new rings and pistons. I just installed a new pressure pump and will fly it again tomorrow to see if this could make any difference but I am afraid my problem may be coming from the main bearings.
According to the log book new bearings were installed during overhaul but my hunch after talking with the Ranger Engine Experts is this is probably my problem.
This being said my newly finished restoration is again in need of work. ( I am looking for a set of new main bearings. Anyone know where I can find a set? JON MARTIN 610-476-1702'

'Jon, contact John Ellis at johnee35@att.net or give him a call at
573-450-1676. I believe he has a set of bearings.
Does your breather come out of the top of the engine to a drain hose coming
out the bottom of the cowl?
