'Hello all,
I sent an email to George McKinney at Airparts of Lockhaven and explained that one of the members on this forum had a fuel sending unit that didn't work. It is corroded and it is stuck in the full position. I gave the part number of Stewart-Warner EX-19766. George replied back they could repair but not certify. Years ago when I worked in General Aviation buying and selling spam can parts Airparts of Lockhaven is where is sent a lot of Piper instruments and fuel sending units to be repaired. They provided quality repairs. Might be worth a shot.

'I'm curious about the 'original 6 volt system'. I know there is a resistor in series with the fuel gauge, so is it suppose to have a 6 volt drop across it?
