'Well, some of you told me how good it was....an some of you may have never heard of it. It is probably the best book I've read in a long time. "Serenade to the Big Bird" by Bert Stiles.... Google it....
No pictures but is the definitive text on going to war in a B-17. It's a shame he was killed as he would have been another Hemmingway. Such a good author on every aspect of life. You go from laughs to tears. If there is anyway you can check it out or have the least bit of interest in reading it, do so. You won't regret it....
